Quiche recipe#
Ingredients#
100-200 g pie crust dough
5-6 medium or large eggs
200 g shredded mozzarella cheese
150 g bacon, diced
2 cups baby spinach, rinsed
1-2 medium or large onions, diced
salt and pepper to taste
laoganmao chili sauce good on the side (recommended)
Instructions#
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make Pie Crust:
Cover the pie mold with the crust and poke holes (generously) on the bottom.
Put the pie crust into the oven until golden brown.
Take out the pie crust and let cool.
Prepare Ingredients:
Cook the bacon until semi-crispy.
Take the bacon out and add the diced onion, sautéing until softened.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Mix Eggs:
In a bowl, mix together the cheese, egg, spinach, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
Assemble Quiche:
Spread the cooked ingredients onto the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture on top, into the pie crust.
Make sure all the ingredients are covered in the mixture.
Bake:
Cook for 30-40 minutes.
Sprinkle a layer of cheese on top before taking the quiche out of the oven, if desired.
Serve:
Let the quiche cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Garnish with laoganmao.
Serve warm and enjoy!
