Quiche recipe#

Ingredients#

  • 100-200 g pie crust dough

  • 5-6 medium or large eggs

  • 200 g shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 150 g bacon, diced

  • 2 cups baby spinach, rinsed

  • 1-2 medium or large onions, diced

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • laoganmao chili sauce good on the side (recommended)

Instructions#

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Make Pie Crust:

    • Cover the pie mold with the crust and poke holes (generously) on the bottom.

    • Put the pie crust into the oven until golden brown.

    • Take out the pie crust and let cool.

  3. Prepare Ingredients:

    • Cook the bacon until semi-crispy.

    • Take the bacon out and add the diced onion, sautéing until softened.

    • Remove from heat and set aside.

  4. Mix Eggs:

    • In a bowl, mix together the cheese, egg, spinach, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

  5. Assemble Quiche:

    • Spread the cooked ingredients onto the pie crust.

    • Pour the egg mixture on top, into the pie crust.

    • Make sure all the ingredients are covered in the mixture.

  6. Bake:

    • Cook for 30-40 minutes.

    • Sprinkle a layer of cheese on top before taking the quiche out of the oven, if desired.

  7. Serve:

    • Let the quiche cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

    • Garnish with laoganmao.

    • Serve warm and enjoy!
